About Julie

College Education and Background

Julie grew up in a small town in Southwest Washington.  She moved to Seattle to attend college at the University of Washington and graduated from the UW cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and later a Masters Degree in Nursing.  She has had numerous professional roles in nursing including Clinical Nurse Specialist in Critical Care, Nursing Instructor at the college level, Nursing Supervisor and Nurse educator in a teaching hospital environment. 

Professional Real Estate Experience and Education

Julie brings a depth and passion to her real estate career.  Credentialed as a real estate agent in the state of Washington, she also belongs to the Council of Residential Specialists (CRS), an elite designation which comprises only the top tier of professional Realtors.  Julie has been awarded the ABR designation (Accredited Buyers’ Representative) which furthers her expertise as a Realtor in representing buyers. She belongs to the National Association of Realtors, Washington State Association of Realtors and is an Accredited Staging Professional (ASP). She has successfully consulted and staged homes enabling them to sell more quickly and at a higher price point.  Windermere Northeast, Inc, in Kirkland, WA is her home office and in addition to Kirkland, also services the neighboring communities of Woodinville, Redmond, Bellevue, and Bothell.  She is accustomed to handling multiple caseloads of clients and complicated transactions and is a Windermere “Premier” Agent, a specialized marketing program for luxury properties. 

Personal

The Seattle area has been her home for over 30 years.  She has lived in Woodinville, WA in the community of Hollywood Hill for the past 17 years.  Julie is married to Kurt Billett, a physician practicing in Kirkland, and has 3 children, Hannah, Sam and Nate.  Their children are enrolled in the Northshore School District where she has been an active volunteer, most recently as Leota Junior High Honor Society co-chairperson, and past president of PTA at Hollywood Hill Elementary.  An organizer and initiator, Julie has started several programs to benefit students including  Hollywood Hill Elementary's Chess Club. Her husband, Kurt, has held positions as coach for Math Club and Woodinville Soccer Club.  Julie is also involved in the greater Woodinville community volunteering in youth sports and events such as the Woodinville Slough Run.  She is currently a Deacon at University Presbyterian Church in Seattle and is a partner in Agros, an organization to promote self-sufficiency among the poor in Latin America.  Other interests include health and fitness and hold certifications as a personal trainer and Pilates instructor.

About Kelly, Licensed Assistant
Kelly brings a long history of experience to the table. She has managed a vast portfolio of real estate holdings for clients and family business.  Her attention to detail in managing and facilitating the transactions for Julie's team is unsurpassed.  For the past 15 years Kelly has lived in Woodinville, on Hollywood Hill.  During this time she has been involved in community service including PTA, Girl Scouting, Presbyterian Youth Group, and the support of youth sports in the Northshore School District.  For people who are relocating to this area, she is very knowledgeable of the neighborhoods and schools, both public and private. She is a Licensed Real Estate Agent and has and holds a degree in Business Administration.
